05/17/16   53 Year Old Woman Dies In Sunday Crash

A 53 year old Little Rock woman lost her life in a one vehicle crash in Saline County on Sunday. State Police report, a 2004 Chevrolet, driven by Terri Castle of Little Rock was traveling northbound on State highway 5, south of East Gate when it came into a turn, the vehicle left the road and went down an embankment, Castle was ejected.

A passenger in the vehicle, 48 year old Jimmy Herring of Little Rock was injured and taken to UAMS for treatment.

The weather conditions were clear, the roadway dry at the time of the crash at 9:14pm on Sunday night. The accident was investigated by senior corporal Jeff Ramsey of Troop “A” of the state police.

Castile's death was the 168 fatality on Arkansas roadways so far this year.
