90 year old Charles Raymond “Bear” Lasiter of Fordyce, retired principal and educator for the Fordyce School district, died on Friday at his residence at Dalton's Place in Fordyce.

Lasiter served his country in the Navy during WW II as a radar man aboard the USS Intrepid.

Visitation will be from 6-8pm Wednesday at Frazer's Funeral Home in Warren with funeral services Thursday morning at 10 at First Baptist Church in Fordyce. Interment at Union Hill Cemetery in Ingalls, Arkansas.
