05/02/16   Small Ruminant Workshop Set For May 5

According to Les Walz, Cleveland County Extension service staff chairman, a small ruminant workshop,part two, will be held Thursday, May 5,  from 3-7:30pm at the James Raby Farm, located at 3030 highway 63, next to Melhorn Feed.

A hands on demonstration of electric fencing will be presented by Kenny Simon, extension program associate, a fencing review and a hands-on demonstration of “Getting down to the hoof” by Chelsey Ahren, youth education specialist.

Walz says there's no charge for the event but asks that you call and tell him you're coming so they can plan for the amount of material and food needed. You can call 870-325-6321 for more information.
