04/28/16   New Medical Director, Renovation and New Helli Pad At Ouachita Medical Center

In an interview earlier in the week, Ouachita County Medical Center administrator Peggy Abbott told us the hospital will be offering an expanded and completely renovated emergency department by July. She says a new medical  director has taken over that department.

Abbott says she is excited about a new heli-pad being constructed at the rear of the hospital.

After the renovations are completed on the expanded emergency department the work will start on an expanded surgery area.
