04/27/16   Billion Dollar Mill To Be Built In Arkadelphia

A billion dollar bio-products mill will be built in southern Arkansas, creating 250 jobs. Governor Asa Hutchinson, joined by Sun Paper chairman and founder Hong-zin Lee made the announcement yesterday.

The mill will be built at Arkadelphia. It will be Sun Paper's first facility in North America. Sun Paper employs 10 thousand people worldwide.

The Governor said the plant is one of the largest private investments in the state's history.  An economic development official said earlier this month that Sun Paper was also considering Mississippi for the mill.
