Graveside services will be held this morning at 11 at Rowell Cemetery near Rison for 79 year old Havis “Pete” Spakes of Calmer.

Spakes died on Sunday at his home. He was a retired employee of National Rug Company.

Reverend Brent Atkinson and Reverend Robert Lyons will officiate at the service. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society and Hospice Angels. Buie Funeral Home of Rison in charge of arrangements.
