04/26/16   County Winners Of Farm Family Of The Year Announced

County winners for the annual Arkansas Farm Family of the Year Program have been selected. County winners will be judged June 6-8 to determine eight district winners who will be announced June 14. Competition continues July 11-14 to select a state winner, which will be announced December 8 at the Farm Family of the Year luncheon.

County winners from South East Arkansas include Lamar and Judy Evans of Dallas County, Jason and Brooke Allison family of Rison for Cleveland County. Calhoun County, Randy and Angie Ables family of Hampton, Jefferson County, Steve Pharr family of Pine Bluff. Drew County, Rusty Mitchell family of Monticello. Bradley County, Mike Harton family of Warren. Lincoln County, Cody and Samantha Graham family of Star City. Grant County, Chris and Elizabeth Hale family of Sheridan.

All winners are judged on their farm production, efficiency, management, family life and rural or community leadership.
