04/22/16   Forestry Workshop Scheduled For April 28

The 2016 Southwest Research and Extension Center Forestry workshop at Hope will be held Thursday, April 28 from 8:30am till 3:15pm.

 Lunch will be provided for those who register by the deadline April 22.  If you register by the 22^nd, registration is $12.00.At the door it's $17.00.

Dr. Kyle Cunningham of the Arkansas Forest Resource Center will discuss Herbicides for hardwood management. Ples Spradley of the cooperative extension service will discuss Herbicide safety. Those will be held in the morning sessions. There will be a field tour at 10:45, followed by lunch.

In the afternoon, Dr Victor Ford, director of the S.W. Research and Extension Center will talk about Herbicides for pine management.
