04/18/16   Small Ruminant Workshop Coming To Cleveland County

According to Les Walz, Cleveland County Extension service staff chair, a small ruminant workshop, Part two, will be held May 5 from 3-7:30pm at the James Raby Farm, located at 3030 highway 63, next to Melhorn Feed.

A hands on demonstration of electric fencing will be presented by Kenny Simon, extension program associate. A fencing review and a hands-on demonstration of “Getting down to the hoof” by Chelsey Ahren, youth education specialist.

Extension Agent, Walz says there's no charge for the event but asks that you call and tell him you're coming so they can plan for the amount of material and food needed. You can call 870-325-6321 for more information.
