04/13/16   Charges Filed In Dallas County Circuit Court

 

In Circuit Court in Dallas County, on April 8, deputy prosecuting attorney Tom Wynne, for the 13th Judicial District, division 4, filed charges of breaking and entering against 30 year old Jimmy Tyrell Murray of Fordyce and 27 year old Kisha Jackson of Clinton, Arkansas. According to information filed in court, Murray had a master key and the two broke into a room at Days Inn and didn't pay. They were arrested and taken to the Dallas County Detention Center.

Willie Gene Russell III, age 27, of Kingsland was charged in circuit court with possession of paraphernalia to manufacture meth-cocaine and possession of meth-cocaine with purpose to deliver. Fordyce police stopped Russell for a traffic violation on March 12 and a search of his vehicle revealed the drugs and paraphernalia.

On April 6, Wynne filed charges against 32 year old Stephanie N. Smith of Fordyce in connection with the escape on February 7, of Paul Grice of Warren from the Dallas County Detention Center. Smith is charged with assisting or furnishing an implement for escape and hindering the apprehension or prosecution of Grice. The information goes on to state that Smith knowingly assisted Grice to escape from the Dallas County Detention Center, picked up Grice along highway 8 behind the detention center and took him to Monticello. The investigation also revealed that on 3 different occasions, Grice jumped the detention center fence to meet with Smith in an abandoned house behind the jail for sexual relations.

On April 7, the prosecutor's office filed criminal mischief  charges against 44 year old Sabra Nicole Cross Johnson. On November 30, 2015, police were called to investigate an incident in which Johnson is alleged to have done over three thousand dollars worth of damage to a vehicle belonging to Antonetta Andrews and at the time, was in possession of Angela Thomas. Johnson was reported to be under the influence of alcohol and beat the vehicle with a child's toy on the hood and rear panel after she struck Thomas with the toy.
