04/12/16   Cotton Belt Festival T-Shirts On Sale Now

The 36th annual Fordyce on the Cotton Belt Festival on the courthouse square in Fordyce kicks off on the 18th and runs all week, through the 23rd.  Festival Coordinator, Joe Bill Meador says the headquarters for the Festival, the old Benton Furniture Store on Main street, is open each day this week from 10am-4pm. T-shirts are available in all sizes.

Meador says he thinks he's got some outstanding talent lined up again this year, including Morgan Frazer.  Frazer's grandmother lives in Sheridan.

Frazer will  be the headliner on stage Saturday night at the Festival. The entertainment kicks off Monday evening at 6:30 with the Gospel  explosion.

On Tuesday evening, it's the CASA sponsored KARAOKE competition. Lisa Harvill of CASA says that event is shaping up well.

There are activities planned all day Saturday including the Championship Steak Cook-off and the parade at 11am.
