Twenty year old Deon Martez Dunn of Fordyce has been charged in Dallas county circuit court with commercial burglary and theft of property. The charges were filed on March 24 by Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Tom Wynne.

According to information filed in court, on January 28, allegedly, Dunn and some other unnamed subjects were on the railroad tracks behind Moro Creek Pawn Shop at around 1am and decided to break into the business. Dallas County Deputy Keith Axom said in his report that Dunn and his friends found two ladders and put one up on a wall behind the store and climbed over. They then pried open the back door and proceeded to take guns and other merchandise from the store, including a cash register containing $3,000.00 in cash. They broke the cash register open on the railroad tracks behind the store.

Axom said as of the date of his report in February, 5 guns stolen in the break in had been recovered. The others involved in the break in were not identified in the report.
