03/30/16   Car-Truck Crash Kills Man In Lake Village

 

A Louisiana man lost his life in a car-truck crash in Chicot county early Tuesday morning. According to a preliminary state police report, the accident occurred on US-65 at the railroad tracks in Lake Village.

32 year old Earl Matthew Roe-sear II of Metairie, Louisiana was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. State police report, Roe-sear was traveling north on US 65, crossed the south bound lane and struck a semi-truck in the front drivers side.

The truck was driven by 48 year old James H. Brown of Madison, Wisconsin. He was transported to the Chicot Memorial Hospital at Lake Village for treatment of his injuries.

The weather conditions were clear, roadway dry at the time of the crash Tuesday morning at 3:10am. The crash was investigated by state trooper Chip Lacaze.
