03/16/16   Three Area Residents Face Charges In Ouachita County

 

A Bearden man has been charged by deputy prosecutor R. Jeffrey Sawyer in Circuit Court in Camden with breaking and entering. Thirty-two-year-old Michael Doherty was charged in a break-in that occurred on December 4 of 2015 at a storage shed at a residence on Ouachita 83, just outside Bearden. The charges were filed on March 2.

On March 4, Deputy prosecutor Phillip A. Stone filed charges of commercial burglary against 52 year old Sharon Marie Golden of Hampton. Golden was caught with a cart full of merchandise she hadn't paid for trying to leave Wal-Mart. The merchandise added up to over $600.00. Golden had previously been banned from the store.

Stone filed charges of residential burglary and first degree terroristic threatening against 38 year old Harold Hurst of Camden on March 4. According to the report filed in circuit clerk's office, on January 1, Hurst forced his way into a residence on Doak Street in Camden and threatened the residents. Hurst is alleged to have threatened to kill the boy friend of his ex-girlfriend.
