03/16/16   Kingsland Man Arrested For Drugs Following Traffic Stop

 

A Kingsland man was arrested and charged with three drug violations and two traffic violations following a traffic stop in Fordyce on March 12.

According to a report filed by Fordyce Patrolman Bryce McKinney, Willie Gene Russell was stopped for failure to have a license plate lamp and McKinney then discovered Russell was driving on a suspended license. When McKinney search Russell's vehicle, a quantity of meth was discovered and drug paraphernalia.

Russell was charged for the license plate lamp violation and driving on a suspended license, possession of meth with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
