03/14/16   March 15 Deadline To Obtain Crop Insurance

Producers need to remember that March 15 is the deadline to obtain insurance coverage through the Farm Service Agency's non-insurance crop insurance program for the 2016 acreage that is hayed and grazed.

 An administration fee of  $250>00 per crop applies unless you can qualify as a beginning farmer, socially disadvantaged, or a limited resource producer. Under the latter, the $250.00 fee is waived.
