03/14/16   Razorback Roundup A Success In Spite Of Rain

Razorback Round-up organizer Jeremy Sullivent appeared on the live stream of South Arkansas Today on this website this morning it was also broadcast live KQ-102.3. Sullivent termed this year's wild hog hunt and all the other hunts and activities that took place a success even considering the monsoon rains all last week.  The event was streamed live on "coatesmedia.com" yesterday and a recorded version can be seen here. In an interview last week, Sullivent said the Razorback Roundup has not had a pretty weekend since it's beginning so he's thinking about adding a provision in the rules pertaining to bad weather.

This year there was the wild hog hunt, the coon hunt, the squirrel hunt and fox hunt. Next year, Sullivent says another hunt may be added.

Lots of meat is donated every year by the Dog Hunters Association to needy families. Sullivent says there's a real market for Feral hog meat overseas.

Jeremy Sullivent is the founder of the Razorback Roundup in Fordyce.
