03/04/16   Fordyce To Host 3rd Annual Razorback Roundup

The 3^rd Annual Razorback Roundup, headquartered in Fordyce will be held next weekend. According to event organizer Jeremy Sullivent, the number of participants in the hog hunt increases every year.

Sullivent says the hog hunting is not just confined to Arkansas.

There are other events that will be held in conjunction with the hog hunt including a squirrel treeing contest..a squirrel hunt. Coon hunt and fox hunt. Jeremy says there's still time to register for the squirrel and coon hunt.

In addition there will be a greased pig contest for the kids and lot of things for sale at the vendor's booths in the armory next to city hall. The sponsor of the event is the Arkansas Dog Hunters Association. Sullivent said $5,000.00 in cash prizes will be awarded this year plus  approximately $4,000.00 more in other prizes.
