02/19/16   Dallas County Sheriff Stan McGahee Reports Outstanding Receipts At Jail Are Improving

The Dallas County Quorum court on Tuesday night heard monthly reports from Dallas County Sheriff Stan McGahee and Dallas County Medical Center administrator, Tammy Rieves. McGahee told the JP'S the Dallas County Detention Center is holding 96 prisoners at this time and pointed to one improvement in receipts at the jail.

Hospital administrator Tammy Rieves gave the JP's an up-date on the affiliation with St. Vincent's. She said about three months ago, the board met with David Fox of St. Vincent's and she spoke of the advantages of such an affiliation.

Rieves says it will be about 4 months until everything really is in place and the two hospitals begin their partnership.
