02/10/16   Bearden To Purchase New Fire Truck

The Bearden City Council voted Monday night to purchase a 1997 fire truck for $60,000.00. Fire Chief A.W. Evans was pretty happy about it.

Evans said the old truck is obsolete.

Mayor Iva Lou Stoker said the truck will be paid for with grant money with a down payment of around $9,000.00 from a CD in the bank.
