02/10/16   The Docket Was Full In Bearden's Latest District Court

 

Bearden District Court Judge Dan Ives had a full docket on this past court date held January 21.  Jeffrey Butler of Thornton was ordered to pay $165.00 fines and court costs on a speeding violation, his trial reset for February 18.

Blaze Burdine of Camden on December 19 was charged will failure to appear, she was ordered by the judge to pay $400.00 in fines and court costs, with 30 days suspended.

Theo Wayne Howard, 32 of Bearden paid $165.00 on a speeding violation.

Michael Dean of Bearden failed to appear in court on public intoxication and criminal trespass charges. The judge suspended his license and levied a total of $570.00 in fines and court costs and set bond at $1,000.00.

Johnny Link of Bearden failed to appear in court on three counts of 3rd degree assault, criminal trespass and harassing communications. His drivers license was suspended, bond set at $1,500.00.

Derek Bailey of Bearden paid $140.00 for failure to yield and $405.00 for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Melvin White of Fordyce had his trial reset for February 18 on a contempt of court charge.

Wesley Dunn of Bearden, charged with cruelty to animals had his fine reduced by the judge from $505.00 to $150.00.

Homer Jones III of Bearden had his trial reset on charges of illegal dumping of trash.

Heather Benitez of Bearden paid $215.00 for driving without a license and $90.00 for not having insurance.

William Deboard of Fordyce did not appear in court on charges of failure to have liability insurance and failure to stop at a stop sign. He was ordered to pay $140.00 for failure to stop and $365.00 dollars for no insurance.

Josh Clemons of Bearden pled not guilty to charges of failure to have insurance, displaying fictitious tags and no signed registration. He's facing a total of $445.00 in fines and court costs. His trial is set for February 18.

Jonathan Ortega Valdez of Camden failed to appear in court on charges of not having a drivers license and displaying fictitious tags. The judge levied a total of $430.00 in fines and court costs plus $1,000.00 bond.

Devis Word of Bearden paid $140.00 for not displaying vehicle tags and $365.00 for no proof of insurance.

Clint Trammel of Fordyce failed to appear in court on charges of following too close and defective equipment. He was ordered to pay $280.00 in fines and court costs plus a $1,000.00 bond.

Michael Doherty of Bearden was ordered to pay $415.00 in fines and court costs for failure to appear.

Chris Peebles of Camden was given until September to appear on contempt of court. He owes $3,305.00 in fines.

Steven Olvey of Camden was cited on a hot check charge. Olvey was ordered to pay $485.00 in fines and court costs plus make restitution in the amount of $202.00dollars.

Gary Hooker of Camden was cited for contempt of court and ordered to pay $350.00 in fines and court costs.

Kimberly Sellers of Hampton paid $200.00 for failure to appear.

Betty Berg of Bearden was charged with violation of the hot check charge and was ordered to pay $245.00 of the fine the day of court out a total of $535.00 in fines and court costs plus make restitution of $210.00.

Melissa Brangaccio of Bearden, charged with failure to vacate paid the court $200.00 of a $210.00 dollar fine.
