02/08/16   Fordyce School Board And Bearden City Council Meet In Regular Session Tonight

There's a couple of important meetings scheduled for tonight in the area. The Fordyce School Board will meet at 5pm this evening. The meeting will be broadcast live on Coates media.com, if you can't attend. The meeting is open to the public.

The Bearden City Council meets in regular session tonight at the council chambers at city hall. The meeting begins at 7pm. The council is due to take action tonight on sewer and water rate increases as proposed by the Franks engineering firm out of Texarkana. The work is getting underway in Bearden on an approximately four year sewer improvement project. The water and sewer rate increase will help pay for the project.
