02/04/16   Arkansas Man Dead After Semi-Pickup Head On

A 51 year old man from Alicia, Arkansas was killed and a St. Louis, Missouri truck driver injured in a head-on crash involving a pickup truck and an 18 wheeler.

According to a preliminary State Police report, a 1998 Chevy truck driven by Brian Tat Pieri of Alicia, Arkansas was north bound on U.S. 67 just outside the Hoxie city limits when the truck crossed the center line striking a 2016 Freighliner driven by 37 year old Armel Behrem of St. Louis, Missouri head-on.

Behrem was taken to a hospital at Walnut Ridge for treatment. Tat Pieri died at the scene. Weather conditions were clear, the roadway dry at the time of the collision at 5:44 am yesterday morning. Sr. Corporal Jimmy D. Danley of the State Police investigated the accident.
