01/20/16   Man Dies In One Vehicle Accident In Chicot County

A Eudora man died Monday night in a one vehicle crash in Chicot county. According to a preliminary State Police report, 31 year old James Lucas of Eudora died when his 1982 Oldsmobile Regency, heading east on state highway 8, left the roadway and struck a culvert and overturned.

Lucas was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash by Chicot County Coroner Bill Marter. Weather conditions were clear..the roadway dry at the time of the crash at 10pm Monday night.

State Trooper Grant Evans investigated the crash.
