01/15/16   Four Arkansas State Troopers Promoted

Four Arkansas State Troopers were recommended for promotion yesterday during a regular monthly meeting of the Arkansas State Police commission.

The recommendations were presented by Col William J. Bryant, State Police Director and unanimously approved by the State Police Commission.

Among the four recommended for promotion is 46 year old Corporal Robert Wilson of Ashdown, promoted to rank of sergeant. In his new position, Wilson will serve as post supervisor assigned to the department's Highway Patrol Division, Troop G, headquartered at Hope. Sergeant Wilson is a 12 year veteran of the department.
