In District Court in Bearden on December 15, Judge Dan Ives issued a warrant for the arrest of Richard McCants of Bearden for failure to appear in court. McCants was to appear on traffic violations that included driving on a suspended license and failure to signal a turn. McCants was ordered to pay a total of $355.00 in fines and court costs.

Judge Ives heard four hot check cases, Zina Lambert of Bearden paid $815.00 in restitution, fines and court costs. Ricky Frisby of Fordyce was ordered to pay $764.00 in restitution, fines and court costs. Annie Horn of Bearden was ordered to pay a total of $615.00 in restitution, fines and court costs on a hot check charge and Marquita Thrower of Bearden was ordered to pay a total of $890.00 in restitution, fines and court costs on a hot check charge. Her trial is set for January 21. Korey Robion of Bearden was cited for contempt of court on November 15. His trial is set for January 21^st. He owes old fines amounting to $4,000.00 and the judge added $335.00 to the total on December 15.

Michael Doherty of Bearden was cited December 17 for failure to appear in court. He owes $1,000.00 in old fines. The judge added $335.00 to that total December 15. Also Doherty was cited for shoplifting in November and has been ordered to pay $543.00 in restitution, fines and court costs.

Stephanie Evans of Bearden was charged with shoplifting on November 15. The judge ordered Evans to pay $455.00 dollars in fines and court costs and make restitution. Evans has until March 17 to pay.

Sharondo Williams of Camden failed to appear in court Dec 15 on a traffic violation. The judge issued a warrant for her arrest and set cash bond at $500.00, plus $140.00 in fines and court costs.
