01/11/16   Car Crash In Hot Spring County Kills Bismarck Woman

A 55 year old Bismarck woman has been killed in a one vehicle crash in Hot Spring County. According to a preliminary report from the State Police, Venessa L. Odell of Bismarck was dead at the scene of the crash on highway 7, south of Bismarck.

The report stated that a 2015 Jeep Patriot, driven by Odell's husband, Chris,  was traveling northbound on highway 7 when it left the road, struck a utility pole and overturned. Mrs. Odell was pronounced dead at the scene by Hot Spring County Coroner Ernie Cox.

There was a light mist and the roadway was wet at the time of the crash at 5:18 Thursday evening. The crash was investigated by State Trooper Kyle Sheldon.
