A woman well known in Warren and surrounding communities has died at the age of 98.

Jean C. Frisby of Warren died Monday at home. Mrs. Frisby earned a Masters Degree in Home Ecomonics from the University of Arkansas at Fayettville.

In 1957 she organized the first All Tomato luncheon in Warren, a tradition that still continues. Mrs. Frisby retired March 31, 1995 as Bradley County Extension Agent Staff Chairman. She served as Vice President of the National Association of Extension Home Economists from 1964-1967.  From 1960-61, she was President of the Arkansas Association of Extension Home Economists.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at 10 at Frazer's Chapel with burial in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation is this evening from 6-8pm at Frazer's. Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church in Warren.  Frazer's Funeral Home in Warren in charge of arrangements.
