12/16/15   A Problem Arises With Moving The Old Train Depot In Bearden

It was thought that Bearden had a firm bid on moving the old train depot from its present site to a new proposed site near downtown, but Mayor Iva Lou Stoker told us at the Bearden City Council meeting Monday night, there was a problem with the company that placed the initial bid.

The council gave all the decision making on the proposed library-depot building to the newly appointed board of directors. Denise Link serves as chairman of the group.
