12/11/15   Two Sparkman Men Arrested Following Traffic Stop

On December 1, Dallas County Deputy Sheriff Ryan Coleman witnessed a vehicle being driven by someone known to have a suspended license.  Coleman stopped the vehicle on Highway 7, just north of Sparkman.

The driver of the vehicle was 50 year old Laura Hunter of Sparkman. 50 year old  Pierre Hunter occupied the passenger seat.  After obtaining permission to search  the vehicle, Coleman found a small pipe know for smoking crack in the passenger seat.  Hunter admitted the pipe was his and the last time he used it to smoke crack was 3 days ago.  A small amount of marijuana was also found in a small box. A small pink pill was also found. 

Both individuals were taken into custody and transported to the Dallas County Sheriff's office.
