12/10/15   911 Call Culminates In Sparkman Arrest

Dallas County deputy Ryan Coleman and deputy Todd Cartwright on November  28,  responded to a 9-1-1 call from a Sparkman residence. 

Upon arrival the deputies identified two individuals known to them as Jennifer Sweeney and Roy Edward Johnson standing in front of the residence.  Sweeney had a deep cut on her lower left leg and two black eyes.  Both individuals told deputies they had been in a fight and Johnson struck Sweeney in the face numerous times. Sweeney was responsible for  the cut on her leg.  Emergency personnel was called to take care of Sweeney's injuries.  The deputies noted that both Sweeney and Johnson had been drinking. 

Sweeney was transported to the hospital for treatment of her leg wound.  Johnson was placed under arrest and charged with domestic battery in the 3^rd degree.
