12/10/15   Bearden Man Arrested And Charged With Theft And Possession Of Marijuana

Shawn A. Berry of Bearden was arrested on November 30 by Dallas County Deputy Ryan Coleman and charged with  theft of motor fuel, driving with  a suspended license and possession of marijuana.

The charges came as the result of a stake out at the Chapel Creek Store in Holly Springs who had reported stolen motor fuel. Berry was stopped about a half mile from the store on highway 9 and Coleman noticed Berry was holding a cigar that had been altered for marijuana use.

Berry admitted to Coleman the cigar contained marijuana.
