12/07/15   Fordyce Christmas Parade And Chili Cook-off Winners

The Chamber of Commerce Family Fun Night in Fordyce Thursday night was a big success according to Chamber Executive Director  Barbara Finley.  Finley appeared on KQ-102.3's South Arkansas Today on Friday and announced the parade winners.. First place went to the Dallas County Medical Center, a $200.00 winner. Second place winner was New Horizon, a $100.00 winner and third place winner was the Cub Scout float, a $50.00 winner.  The prize money each year is provided by Fordyce Bank and Mortgage. Finley thanked one person in particular for their hard work in putting together the parade.

The chili winners were:  Joe Finley, first place; Paul Coates, 2^nd place and Kevin Kaufmann third place.  Finley thanked Donna Ferguson..

Finley says next years chili competition will have an incentive. Finley said the silent auction went well.  Anyone who hasn't claimed their items from the silent auction need to do so..you can contact Barbara Finley at the Chamber office.
