12/03/15   Depot fund Raising Christmas Bazaar This Saturday In Bearden

The Build a Better Bearden Christmas Bazaar will be held Saturday at 1^st United Methodist Church in Bearden from 9am to 4pm...it's a fund raiser for the train depot museum-library project.  On the Bearden Brunch Bunch last week, Bearden Mayor Iva Lou Stoker talked about the bazaar, she said soup, cornbread, dessert and drink will be available at bazaar from 10am-2pm. Booth space for the bazaar is available for ten dollars a space.

Stoker is excited about moving old train depot into Bearden.

Twelve thousand dollars is needed to move the depot.  If you'd like to contribute, you can stop by the City Clerk's office or for more information, call Denise Link at 870-814-8142.  Your cash contributions are tax deductible.
