12/02/15   Sparkman Father And Son Charged With Battery, Criminal Mischief And Trespassing

A father and son from Sparkman have both been charged in Dallas County Circuit Court with battery, 1^st degree criminal mischief and criminal trespass. The charges were filed against 20 year old Marquise Tevon Pigg and his father, 41 year old Alexic Quasen Pigg of Sparkman. 

The charges were filed against the two on August 22,  following a fight involving the father and son.. both of whom badly beat Paul Carter of Sparkman.  The disturbance began when Carter ordered the younger Pigg and a friend off his property, they refused and Marquise, the step son of Carter, struck and beat Carter.  The father of Marquise, who goes by Quasen arrived on the scene and after he and Carter had words, he joined in the beating of Carter, who suffered severe wounds from the beating.
