Sales tax receipts in Dallas county were up almost $15,000.00 this October compared with October 2014.

Sales tax revenue for Fordyce in October amounted to $81,600.00 compared to $78,685.00 last year.

Sparkman's receipts amounted to $4,795.00 compared to $2,680.00 last October.

Overall, Dallas County's receipts amounted to $155,926.00 in October compared to $140,967.00 October, 2014. The more money spent at home, the more the county and cities benefit.
