11/18/15  Ouachita County Circuit Court

 

Three criminal cases were filed in Ouachita County Circuit Court in Camden on November 10 and one was filed yesterday,. On November 10,  51 year old Mark A. Ellis of Camden was charged with four counts of aggravated assault.  The charges came after Ellis is alleged to have stabbed Regina Herndon several times with a flat headed screwdriver.   The incident occurred on September 28,  when the two got into an argument over two dollars and the argument turned physical.  Herdon had to have stitches to close wounds in her chest area and stomach suffered in the assault by  Ellis.

Also on the 10th, prosecutors filed charges in circuit court against 34 year old Roderick Lamar Victorian of Camden.  He's  with one count of simultaneous possession of a firearm and drugs, one count of possession of meth, and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon.  Victorian had four other drug related charges filed against him in July and August.

Theodore Grisham Hurley III of Camden faces drug related charges dating back to June.  He faces three charges of delivery of “Shrums”, which are mushrooms and classified a schedule one narcotic, he also faces three counts of using a cell phone in commission of a drug deal, and three counts of dealing drugs within a thousand feet of a church.

On November 17, yesterday, prosecutors filed criminal charges against 27 year old Amber Marie McCarter of Camden.  On September 17, McCarter was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, no drivers license and defective tail lights.  The charges resulted from a traffic stop and search of her vehicle in Camden.
