11/17/15  Date Set For Bearden Community Parade

The annual Bearden Community Parade will be held Wednesday December 12,  beginning at 6pm.  Entrants should be at the Bearden High School parking lot no later than 5:45.  There is no fee to enter. For information, call Cleo Beard at 687-1451.

Also, at the last Bearden City Council meeting, Pastor Joey Ruth of Assembly of God Church in Bearden presented the council a plan for a community event to take place at city park after the Christmas parade.  According to Ruth, this will be an opportunity for the citizens of Bearden to come together and will include a toy and food drive to be distributed by the Bearden Missionary Baptist church.  For more information,  contact Joey Ruth at 1^st Assembly of God Church in Bearden.
