11/16/15  Pedestrian Struck And Killed

A 21 year old Hot Springs man was struck and  killed early Friday morning as he attempted to cross a highway. According to a preliminary report from the State Police, Jaythorne Joel Pyle was struck by a vehicle at the Martin Luther King Expressway on-ramp at Albert Pike Road, as Pyle was attempting to cross the road. 

The driver of the 2005 GMC truck was not identified.  There were no other injuries. The weather conditions were clear, roadway dry at the time of the accident at 6:18 Friday morning.  Officer Shawn Stillman of the Hot Springs Police Department investigated the incident.
