11/13/15  Unpaid Fines In Bearden Pushing a Million Dollars

 The City of Bearden is owed an estimated 900 thousand dollars in unpaid fines, and is trying to do something to collect some of that money.  The city is working on a contract with Megan Rockwell who will go to work to collect some of the money. 

According to a motion approved by the Bearden City Council on Monday night, the city would get 65 percent of the money collected, Rockwell would receive 35 percent...that's after the state and local fees are paid.
