11/06/15  Deer Hunters Advised Not To Bring Fire Wood To Deer Camp

Next weekend gun season opens for deer hunters, and deer hunters like to have bonfires at their camps.  Ouachita County Extension Agent Keri Welch has a reminder for deer hunters who plan to have camp fires, don't transport the emerald ash borer in wood you carry to your campsite.

If you bring wood from your home to he campsite, you could transport the emerald ash borer without knowing it.
