Roger Carter of Rye died Sunday at his home in Cleveland County. He was 71. He was a retired employee of Knox Nelson Oil Company in Pine Bluff. He was a Marine Corps veteran and served in Viet Nam.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 at Enon Cemetery in Rye.  Visitation is this evening from 6-8pm at Frazer's Funeral Home in Warren, in charge of arrangements.
