10/19/15  Major Effort To Clean Up Pine Bluff Begins Today

This morning beginning at 8am, a program for selected individuals that have completed probation or parole through the Arkansas Department of Community Corrections will begin the long awaited demolition of derelict housing in  Pine Bluff. 

Funding for the program is administered by the Arkansas Department of Community Corrections.  $830,000.00 is allotted to demolish 600 derelict, abandoned and nuisance houses in Pine Bluff over the course of two years. The first demotion will take place at 1506 West 19^th in Pine Bluff.
