10/13/15  Over $2,000.00 In Merchandise Stolen From Ouachita County Home

Last Thursday morning, the Ouachita County Sheriff's office received a call in regard to a residential burglary at 162 Ouachita 274 at Bearden. Krystal Monney told Deputy Sheriff William Carman someone had broken into the  home she and her boyfriend, Nathan Davis had been remodeling an stole several items. 

Monney said her mother, Nelda Young reported seeing the front door  open on Wednesday but was afraid to go inside the house. Carman said in his report pry marks were visible on the front door of the house where the thieves evidently gained entry. Building supplies, a log splitter, a go cart and three window a/c's were reported taken amounting to over two thousand dollars worth of merchandise. Criminal investigator Michael Davidson is heading up the investigation.
