10/07/15  Charges of Rape, Aggravated Assault, Commercial Burglary and More In Dallas County Circuit Court

 

Dallas County Prosecuting Attorney David F. Butler Jr. has filed charges  against several area residents.  28 year old Joshua Beene of Fordyce had rape' charges filed against him on September 29.  According to information filed by Deputy Prosecutor Tom Wynne Beene is charged with the rape of a minor.   He allegedly engaged in sexual activity with the minor between December of 2012 and October 2013.  The minor was under the age of 15 at the time.

61 year old Bobby Dean Johnson of New Edinburg is charged with forgery. The charges stem from an incident that occurred in August when Johnson tried to cash a check at Regions Bank in the amount of over three thousand dollars. The check belonged to Jones Automotive in Little Rock.

Forty-five year old Kevin Moore of Fordyce has been charged in circuit court with commercial burglary and obstruction of government operations.   Moore is charged with breaking into an impound yard belonging to Freer Towing and taking a Harley Davidson motor cycle that had been impounded by the Dallas County Sheriff's Office.

Twenty-five year old Shunta Roshell Walker of Fordyce has been charged  with aggravated assault.  According to a police report Walker tried to run over a man she had been arguing with.  The incident occurred on August 23rd on the parking lot of Scott's garage on West 4th.  Fordyce police officer Bryce McKinney was off duty and washing some clothes at the Laundromat across the street and witnessed the encounter between Walker and an unidentified male. Walker was in a vehicle and when the male subject attempted to get away from her, she attempted to run him over with the vehicle she was driving.  Police were called and Walker was taken into custody.
