09/22/15  SAU Celebrating National Adult And Family Literacy Week

SAU Tech's Adult Education Center in Camden is celebrating National Adult and Family Literacy Week through Friday.  The Center has several activities planned for the week and several agencies will be on site to help students with applications for college, employment assistance and other services.

Today representatives from TRIO, Arkansas Promise, ESA (employment staffing service), Arkansas Rehab Services, and Southern Arkansas University Tech will speak to the students about the services they offer, eligibility requirements and how to apply for those services. 

Guest speakers will address the students at 10am each day. A balloon release is scheduled for this morning at 9:30 during a student appreciation event.
