09/21/15  Dallas County Health Fair results

According to Dallas County Health Unit Director Donna Ferguson, this year's Health Fair was a success.  This year's event was held on a Friday and in conjunction with the Dallas County Fair. 

Ferguson reported that there were 27 women who got mammograms, 35 men got prostrate screenings, there were 43 cholesterol screenings, 35 to 50 people got blood pressure checks and the same for blood sugar tests.  Only a few got an HIV test.

Ferguson reminds anyone who had a cholesterol test, the test results are at the lab at the Dallas County Medical Center.Anyone who has feed back from the Health Fair, is asked to call 352-7198.
