09/18/15  Crossett Man Dies In Motorcycle-Car Crash

A 69 year-old Crossett man died in the collision of a motorcycle and car on an Ashley County road last Thursday. According to a State Police report, James E. Adams of Crossett was killed when a vehicle driven by 64 year-old Sara Tomblin of Crossett turned in front of the Honda Goldwing Trike Adams was riding.  Adams veered to the right, striking the front passenger side of the Buick LaSabre Tomblin was driving.

Adams was pronounced dead at Ashley County Hospital shortly after the mishap occurred at around 3pm Thursday afteroon.  Tomblin was not injured. Weather conditions were clear, road conditions dry at the time of the accident. State Trooper Charles Lacaze investigated the crash.
