09/18/15  Ouachita County Fair Deemed A Success

According to Ouachita County Fair Board President Missy Chambers, the fair was a big success last week with over 3,000 in attendance.  She said they had 32 livestock exhibitors that made the premium sale. Ouachita County Extension agent Keri Welch said the livestock exhibits were down a bit this year, especially the poultry exhibits, more than likely because of fear of their birds contracting the avian flu.

But Welch and Chambers agree, it was a good fair this year.
