09/10/15  Dallas County Fair Continues Today

Today is day two of the Dallas County Fair.  Exhibits open to the public this afternoon from 2-8pm.  Exhibits open tomorrow from 2-8pm and they'll be open in the morning from 9-11 am to accommodate school groups.  And they'll open to the public at noon. The fair parade is Saturday beginning at 10am with line up at Beech Grove Baptist Church. 

Following the parade, a gospel hour will be staged at the fairgrounds beginning at 11:30. The 3^rd annual “Sticky Fingers BBQ”, sponsored by the Fordyce Chamber of Commerce gets underway at 6am at the fairgrounds..the winners will divide over three thousand dollars in prize money.  There will be 5 divisions this year  including one for kids.  This years event is sanctioned and expected to draw more entrants.

The 3^rd annual Fordyce Music Festival gets underway at 1pm and goes till 7pm.. sponsored by Fordyce Bank and Mortgage. The livestock and horse show begins Saturday morning at 9am..followed by the premium sale.  Exhibits are open Saturday 9am till 2pm.
